Well, at the somewhat impatient prodding of my brother and a tiny itch at the back of my head, heres a little slice of what I’ve been up to, the pe in madape… wait, the… the… the one in alaska…
Currently, I’m living in AK.  Juneau to be more specific, working on an Environmental Science undergrad from UAS, additionally, I’ve been spending a lot of time working with the local mountian rescue group, JMR, which is excellent, working on the Juneau Icefield (one of many projects summed here), and spending much time in the mountains.

I’ve been kind of taken by snow, water, and the peaks around town here, and expend much of my school-related time on such things. I’ve also been incrediably burned out lately, mainly due to a busy school schedule and certain struggles to balance this with enough play to maintain some semblance of sanity.
Future stuff: volunteering for ski patrol? doing streamflow discharge and rating curves for flood warnings on auke lake? travel to and from the east coast? possible attempt on the catamount trail in VT? reevaluation of “self-improvement” concepts as a total copout? loose attempts to give energies to two blog projects simultaneously? who knows…

ppps, No direction at all? An ambling artpiece, commentary and criticisms of public works of interpretive dance as observed in bus stations, dolphinspeak tranlation, an obtuse forum for political criticism? Any kind of feedback on what kind of direction this little corner of the universe could/would/should take would be appreciated, as it is what we make it.
