hello, a lurker here on your site. i address you as "mad ape" when i visit your pages and it is most appropriate as you were and are my firstborn nephews. you are the oldest of the next generation, the ones the younger generational spawns look forward to torturing at any family events, even at nana's. you are patient and kind as the body blows are distributed and you sacrifice getting your knees grass stained - oh, wait, you arrived that way - never mind. aunt's aren't picky about your clothes. or your height. or the length of your educational years. and we all wear glasses now, none you would call in style, kind of like the rest of our lives. aunt's care about your safety. aunt's care about your happiness. aunt's care about fostering our family relationships. you were the founding writers of the "flynn family february fling newspaper" each year. you are incredibly talented writers and inspiring photographers. you take chances and have explored and discovered places i have dreamed of - never be disappointed that your travels in life have taken you beyond the safe harbors of life. i still have time.....

now, time to explore the fridge for dinner and may even pour a nice glass of wine so i can enjoy this chilly, rainy evening in marshfield. the wood stove is going and i can hear the ocean's roar even inside the house tonight - perfect!
